Sorry this is delayed, but wow.. going through last year’s posts, I’ve realised how many great films there have been this past year. There has not been a boring month. Even the brain cell fryers were at least nice to look at.

Moonrise Kingdom - Scout camp tour. Naked dance. Discovered on the beach. A thrown shoe. Social Services. Too many to list!
Amour - A lone man capturing a stray pigeon.. and holding it so gently and closely to his body as if it’s the last bit of warmth and companionship in this whole world known to him. So heartbreakingly sad and beautiful all at once.
Django Unchained - Dr Schultz telling the tale of Broomhilda by the light of a blazing fire.
Holy Motors - Interval.
Killing Them Softly - ‘So fucking PAY ME’.
Zero Dark Thirty - Maya losing her shit. And other general badassery. The storming of the compound.
